Juan A. Nevarez has been representing clients in Family and Domestic Relations Law cases for 39 years. He graduated from the University of Buffalo Law School with a Juris Doctorate in 1977. He came to Rochester in 1979 to work for the Legal Aid Society of Rochester where he obtained extensive experience in family law. He founded the Law firm of Nevarez and Nevarez in 1984 with his wife, Kathrine, and has handled thousands of family and domestic relations law cases. He is certified by the Appellate Division Court as attorney for the child. In addition to his practice, Juan is past President of the Ibero American Agency which provides services to Rochester’s Hispanic community. He is a past Board member of the Legal Aid Society of Rochester and the Hochstein School of music. He is bilingual in Spanish/English.


Kathrine Noecker Nevarez graduated from the University of Buffalo Law School in 1978 with a Juris Doctorate. Kathrine started in private practice immediately after admission to the New York State Bar in 1979 and has represented clients in criminal cases, estates and trusts, real estate, education law and family and domestic relations law. Kathrine is a co-founder of the Greater Rochester Association of Women Attorneys.


Tiffany McRae joined the firm as a Paralegal in 2006. She received her paralegal degree from Bryant and Stratton College in 2004. Previous to joining Nevarez & Nevarez, she completed an internship at the Hall of Justice in the Criminal Division.
